BandSoc at the University of Surrey 

BandSoc at the ​University of Surrey (Guildford) is a community for all students who love music of any style or genre. Whether you like playing, performing, watching or simply just meeting new people, we have a membership option for you!

We put on regular socials and gigs for music lovers. In addition to this, Musicians can also book out our rehearsal facilities and equipment and receive help forming and developing bands. Bands are provided with the opportunity to play in gigs and concerts, arranged by the committee to provide a place for musicians to show their talents.

The University of Surrey runs a “STARS” scheme, which distinguishes between different societies engagement, development and charitable work. Currently BandSoc has won the Gold STARS Award two years in a row, and we continue to uphold our reputation through our work to provide music engagement for all, regardless of degree subject.
