Every year the Futsal Club’s first team enters British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions and currently play in the South Eastern 2A division. With the 20/21 season being cancelled, their most recent league finish was 2nd in the 2019/20 season, narrowly missing out on the league title and promotion. The season also featured a cup run to the semi-finals and an 8 game winning run in all competitions. In the upcoming 2021/22 season, the team are looking to go one better and gain promotion.

The first team squad is generally made up of around 15-20 players who train on Friday’s (invite only sessions) and play their matches on Sunday’s. Some recent away trips have included Brighton, Portsmouth and London South Bank.

Trials for the first team will be held in September so be sure to come along as there is nothing to lose! You can sign up to receive more information about trials closer to the time here. Successful trialists will need both a Team Surrey membership and a Men’s Futsal membership. You are not required to purchase either if you are unsuccessful at trials.
