Hi! I’m the next president! I’ve been doing Judo since I was a kid and it’s always been an important part of my life. I think its a great way to keep fit, learn skills and meet new people. There’s a really great sense of community and team spirit here at UoS Judo Club so I hope to see anyone get involved, whether it’s your first time on the mat, or you’re at your black belt! Everyone is welcome!

Emily Leckie – Team Captain 
Hi! I’m Emily, and I’ll be your President. I’m a second year Vet Med student, and I’ve been doing judo for 13 years. Judo has always been very important to me, and over the years I’ve learnt so many lessons that have helped me across every aspect of my life. Judo is also a fantastic way to exercise, and is great for anyone who wants to build strength or stamina. As well as loving judo as a sport, I can’t wait to help support this amazing club and it’s people. Whether you’ve never done judo before, or have been doing it for years, the amazing community will mean you will always have a great time. I’m looking forward to meeting you all over the coming year!

Felix Woollett – Wellbeing Officer

Hello Everyone! The wellbeing officer role is an important role as it puts me as a person who you can come to in the club for extra support, whether that’s an issue or outside of judo! I’ve been trained in wellbeing by the Student Union, so I can give support, or direct you to really great additional support at the university and around surrey if you need it! Making sure the club is inclusive and welcoming is very important to us!
