People and Planet is a wide network of activist groups across many universities in the UK. Our focus is humanitarian and environmental issues, including the frequent overlaps due to shared systemic issues.

We ensure students get a seat and a voice in Uni Management’s meetings, such as in their sustainability, procurement or catering working groups.

We organise direct action on campus and in Guildford, and provide workshops on how to take part in effective activism.

We organise nationally with other P&P groups, activist groups and workers unions.

We campaign with other groups at Surrey to fight issues affecting students.

Anyone that wants to make the world a fairer place is welcome. People and Planet is a place for support, education and inspiration. Whether you want to eat-the-rich or just meet other green-minded students, come along to one of our meetings 🙂

When we’re not busy saving the planet, we have socials! Bowling, board-games, movies, drinks at Wates and loads more! We hope to see you at a meeting soon!
