Who Are We
Postgraduate society is a relaxed space, open to anyone who has graduated and pursuing further study at University. Our Membership is open to PhD and Masters students as well as those studying Medical and Veterinary Science programs.
As a society, we are made up of a wide array of PG students from across the postgraduate student community, including those who have continued their studies at Surrey too those who are arriving in Guildford for the first time.
What we do
Typically, we meet for relaxed informal socials at Wates bar on Stag Hill campus on thursdays from 19:00 until late. Here you can get to know your fellow postgraduates and get away from the stress of your studies.
We also run special events, including Karaoke nights where we prove that GSA aren’t the only ones on campus who can sing, Film Nights, BBQs, Pub crawls, cross-overs with other societies and end-of-year Dinners. During the Summer months when campus runs on reduced hours, We explore Guildford meeting at a variety of local pubs and bars.
We hope you join us for one of our socials and we look forward to seeing you
