BUCS Competitions
Interested in competing for your University? There are three BUCS athletics events each year there’s plenty of opportunities to get out and run against some of the best athletes in the country!
BUCS Cross Country Championships. Taking place in Leeds this academic year on the 3rd February 2024, this event always has a great turnout and is a great opportunity to take part in an off track race.
This is a great event with lots of support. Surrey tries to as many runners as possible in the interest of increasing support and providing everyone with the opportunity to compete at BUCS.
BUCS Indoors takes place in Sheffield as part of BUCS Nationals. Typically a 3-day event with both track and field taking place inside the same arena and live-streamed on YouTube. 23 – 25 February 2024
Most, if not all, require previous performances on Power of Ten to qualify. Let us know if you’re interested in competing and we can discuss the qualification with you.
BUCS Outdoors traditionally take place in Bedford late in Semester 2. Another 3-day event with both track and field events.
Similar to the Indoors championship, Previous performances on Power of Ten are required to compete. Let us know if you’re interested in competing and we can discuss the qualification with you.
