New to Surrey for 2023! We are now a member of the London Universities and Colleges League, opening the opportunity to compete against other universities in a range of new competitions. All events take place in London against other universities in London and the Home Counties, awards are available for the best teams and individuals.
Cross Country
The LUCA Cross-Country League is London’s historic cross-country league for universities in London. Held across four races over two terms, students compete for individual and team success.
Races are typically 5k (two laps) for women and 8k (three laps) for men. All races are held on a Wednesday at 3.00pm.
Indoor Championships
The LUCA Indoor Championship is a one day annual championship.
There are medals awarded for the top three athletes in each event. Points also contribute towards the club championships – the club with the most points wins the LUCA Club Championship
Outdoor Championships
LUCA Outdoor Championships is a one-day competition. Expect all the drama to unfold as LUCA clubs battle for the coveted LUCA Outdoor title. The individual title, or MVP shield, is also up for grabs.
