I’m Tom, your trip organiser for the 24/25 season and I will be taking you on the best week of your life…

This will be the HIGHLIGHT of your year! It’s a University wide trip, open to members, non-members and alumni. You’ll join us in Les Arcs, the heart of the alps from 25th January – 1st February 2025, and WE CANNOT WAIT! Included is a 6 day lift pass, 6 nights accommodation and wristbands for discounts in resort!

Les Arcs is a super beginner-friendly resort with 67 green / blue runs. For the more experienced, there are over 40 red runs for you to hone in your skills. For those looking for the apres bars, fear not – there is a brand new Folie Douce, one of the biggest around. We can’t wait to see you all there!

If you’re nervous abou your skiing ability then don’t panic. If you’re totally new, then join our beginner lessons starting on the 7th Ocotber – these give you all the basics you need for trip. If you’ve just like a refresher, then we run lessons whilst on trip to get you up to scratch!

Trip FAQs
  • How much is the trip?
    • The base price is £499, this includes accommodation, your ski pass and your wrist band!

  • When is the trip?
    • 25th of Jan to the 1st Feb 2025 – Right after exams and in the reading week, nothing to study and nothing to worry about besides having a good time!

  • Where are we going?
    • Les Arcs! Right in the heart of the alps, you have 200km of slopes for all abilities and a huge apres scene.

  • How much money do I need to take with me?
    • Well that really depends on what you get up to! We would recommend £150-£200 to easily be able to enjoy every night out on trip!

  • How do I get there?
    • Option 1 – Coach (£229), this is by far the easiest way to get to resort, it will pick you up from Stag Hill Campus and take you all the way to Les Arcs, no worrying about getting to the airport or catching transfers.
    • Option 2 – Fly, flight prices can vary so book early, and transfers are £45 each way. We recommend Geneva airport as this is where WLT will operate their transfers from. More info will be released about transfer times nearer general release – keep an eye on our instagram @su.snow

  • I can’t ski or board, can I still come?
    • YES! Of course, we welcome everyone of all abilities, we are running beginner lessons with Team Surrey in Semester 1 this year which are PERFECT to get you ready for the trip! If you miss them then don’t worry, we also have lessons on the trip too!

  • I don’t know anyone going, how can I meet people?
    • We have LOADS of ways for you to meet people coming on the trip, come to any of our training sessions and you’ll meet loads of keen skiers and boarders. Or if you’re more about apres then come to any of our Wednesday night Citrus Pres, or even better come to Whiteout, our massive bar crawl! You’re guaranteed to find some mates with us.

  • I am a grad and I want to come am I allowed?
    • YES! All grads are welcome to come along too!
