Student Voice Forum is the greatest opportunity for students to directly ask Senior University Leadership about the issues that matter most to them. This event is organised by the Voice Zone, and allows for open discussion and transparency about important issues.

Student Voice Forum Dates

Thursday 3rd April 2025 / 18:30-20:00 / Link TBC

What is the Student Voice Forum?

This is a Teams Live event that typically happens 3 times per academic year. usually on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, from 18:30-20:00. All students are invited to attend, and Course Reps must attend or send apologies since this is a core part of their role. For your reference, only the panel have their cameras on and the attendees do not have their camera/mic on.

During the event, the VP Voice will ask members from the University Executive Board pre-set questions about student life. Topics can cover all areas of student life and are usually based on recent student concerns, questions or university changes. Some topic examples can be found below or in the attached agendas.

There is a chat function where students are able to ask questions which will be picked by the VP Voice during the audience Q&A sessions, and answered by the University.  Students can choose to make their questions anonymous.

Throughout the forum, the Voice Zone will run a Mentimeter which is another opportunity for students to feedback on the issues being discussed. There are a range of questions that they can answer, and the feedback is directly shared with the University and informs changes they might make to improve your student experience.
