Competitions – Surrey Dance Squad

For those keen to compete, we run competitive teams in the Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap and Wildcard categories. Auditions are held at the start of the academic year. Over the last 6 years, the squad has been very successful placing in the top three at all competitions, including winning ‘Best overall university” at the Loughborough dance competition 2018.

This year we aim to host our own Surrey Dance Competition in March, which more details will be provided for. We were awarded ‘Students Union Cup’ for this event in 2020. This year we are aiming for the event to be even bigger and better!
