Your Quick Guide To LGBT+ Society Membership
Getting society membership from the SU is important for getting involved with the LGBT+ Society. Membership is required to be on the mailing list, which is where the majority of information regarding upcoming sessions, events and more is sent out.
Claiming your membership costs nothing more than a few clicks and a few seconds of your time, and this guide will show you exactly how to get it done.
Step 1: Log in
Go to the Student Union’s home page (https://surreyunion.org) and click the circled button. Proceed to log in using your University of Surrey email account.
Step 2: Find the Society
Click on the dropdown menu next to the login button.
Inside the menu you will see an option towards the left that says “Clubs and Societies”. Click on it.
You will be taken to a list of all the clubs and societies in the SU. Search for our society or scroll down to it on the page, then click “Show More”.
Step 3: Join up!
Last but not least, you’ll see a button that says “Get Membership”. Click on it to claim your membership!
