Fraser Livingston (he/him)
President

Course: Business Management – Entrepreneurship (Final Year)

Favourite Musical: Hello Dolly!

Fun fact: Born in Paris

Fraser says: “MT has been such a big part of my time at university, I’ve made some of my closest friends and have absolutely loved it. This is my fourth year at MTSoc, so I’m delighted to be the President for this year. I’m so excited for another great year!”

Michael White (he/him)
Vice President

Course: Computer Science (Masters)

Favourite Musical: Book of Mormon

Fun fact: I’ve only seen 2 Musicals

Michael says: In my undergraduate years, I absolutely loved Musical Theatre and I made some of my best friends at the University here. It’s the best society for people who love singing, acting or dancing (or all three)!”

Lola Brocklehurst (she/her)
Treasurer

Course: Criminology (Final Year)

Favourite Musical: Mamma Mia

Fun fact: I’ve gone swimming with sharks

Lola says: MTSoc has unequivocally been the best part of my university experience, everyone is always so kind and welcoming and it’s definitely been like being part of a massive family. I am ecstatic to be your Treasurer for the coming year and I can’t wait to meet all of the new talented members and make them feel at home performing with us!!

Molly Montague (she/her)

Fun fact: I once performed for Princess Eugenie

Molly says: “This is my second year in the society and it’s been the best time of my life. I can’t wait to work with this incredibly sweet and talented group of people. I’m really looking forward to performing with everyone again this year!”

Press and Publicity

Course: Psychology (Final year)

Favourite Musical: Newsies

Fun fact: I’m related to the actor who played the Lion in the Wizard of Oz

Harriet says: “This is my third year in this incredible society and it’s been a highlight of my university life, there are so many amazing friendships and memories to cherish. I was a Wellbeing & Inclusion Champion last year and am thrilled to now be Press & Publicity! I cannot wait to get started on choreographing and directing numbers!”

Phoebe says: “I’ve been a part of this wonderful society since my very first week at Surrey and I’ve made some of my closest friends here. Joining was definitely the best decision I’ve made at university so far. I can’t wait to return to Committee for a second year but this time as Marketing Officer, and continue to help run a society that means so much to so many of us!”

Wellbeing & Inclusion Champions

Our Wellbeing & Inclusion Champions are here to support everyone in the society by attending Committee/Creative Team meetings to ensure casting is fair and inclusive, and to signpost people to further support if it is necessary.

Beth says: “I’m so excited to be a Wellbeing and Inclusion Champion this year! After only a year at MTSoc, I’ve made so many strong friendships and created some amazing memories. MTSoc is such a fun and inspiring place and I can’t wait to give back to a society that has given me so much joy!”
