PetSoc does Dog Therapy
With every exam season comes… stress! And that’s why we are here to provide you with awesome dog therapy session where you can get all the puppy cuddles you need. Look out for out therapy session around exams 🙂
Exotic Pets at Merrist Wood College
We had an exciting opportunity to meet and handle some exotic pets at Merrist Wood College. A number of members bravely took on the challenge of holding pythons, who turned out to be a lot friendlier than imagined!
Doggy Kissing Booth
Our first fundraising effort was a Doggy Kissing Booth raising money for local kennels, Rescue Remedies.
We hosted two gorgeous doggy volunteers, Dylan and Leah, and had a wonderful time sharing the puppy love!
Farm on Campus
The rain couldn’t dampen our spirits with these cuties around! We were joined by the animals of Basil & Crew include lambs, goats, a pony, a donkey, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and ducks. Check out the video to the right produced by a group of FPVT students.
Trip to Bockett’s Farm
We enjoyed a day out to Leatherhead’s award winning farm; meeting some lovely animals and witnessing the astounding spectacle that is ‘pig racing’!
PetSoc walks Greyhounds
We took part in the Celia Cross Greyhound Trusts’ annual ‘Great Global Walk’ and had a lovely time walking some gorgeous hounds!
Visit to Cats Protection
We had a lovely afternoon visiting the Cats Protection cattery in Haslemere, learning about the charity and having the chance to meet some of the adorable cats for adoption. This event succeeded in raising £89 for Cats Protection.
