Welcome to the University of Surrey Poker Society.
We meet once a week and aim to give the students of the University of Surrey a relaxed and fun environment to play poker. We have free-to-play tables perfect for beginners or people just wanting to enjoy a game of poker while talking to friends and new people. If you’ve never played poker before, we will offer some teaching during the first few weeks, so don’t be afraid to ask!
As well as our free-to-play tables, we also have pay-to-play tables set at £1/£3/£5 buy-ins. Obviously, we don’t do high buy-ins, but money tables will allow those who are comfortable with it, to really gamble and have fun. Re-buys will be available but within a limited time to make sure everyone finishes on time.
Feel free to come either by yourself to meet new people, or with a few mates to play in an amazing atmosphere. We aim to make the Poker Society an extremely welcoming and fun time, so that whether you’re winning or not, you’re definitely having a good time with great people.
