Welcome to the University of Surrey Yoga Society!

Whether you are a novice yogi, an experienced practitioner, or simply looking for a fun new society to meet like-minded people with good vibes – You are welcome to join us and explore the wonderful world of yoga, be it for the physical aspects, or the calming and relaxing effects of practice… especially after hours of lectures or revision!

We hold twice weekly classes throughout the academic year, lead by fantastic, fully qualified local yoga instructors, at affordable rates – and accessible for all levels! 
Classes are composed of flowing through the physical poses (Asanas), practicing yogic breathing (Pranayama), opening with meditation, and closing class with relaxation (Yoga Nidra & Shavasana).
After such a successful previous year of growth, recognition & collaborations, with more guest teachers, workshops + events, new merchandise, and an emphasis on giving back to the community & widening our outreach through charity work & volunteering.


Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday 8pm-9pm in University Hall.
