The University of Surrey Cricket Club is one of the most successful sports clubs at the university. Since 2007 the club has achieved seven promotions in the BUCS outdoor competition, and reached the semi-finals of the BUCS indoor competition. With a diverse group of members, the club is a great place whether you are just a casual player or a highly skilled player looking for some competitive cricket. We play indoor matches during the winter and have our outdoor season in the summer.

We currently have 3 teams playing BUCS cricket and a further Development side playing friendlies in the summer. In 2021/22 the 1st XI will be playing in the BUCS Southern Premiership. The 2nd XI will be playing in the South Eastern 2A league. Our Women’s XI will also be playing in the BUCS Southern Premiership

We will be training at Reeds school for the coming season at their brand new facilities which are considered some of the best in the country. For the first few weeks we will run training sessions for all new members to help us decide the squads. These squads will not be fixed and there will definitely be movement between squads throughout the year. Look out for us at Freshers Fair and visit our facebook page for details on the specific dates / times of training.

We have a budding social scene, with loads of events throughout the week. Check out our ‘week in the life’ page on the website. Many of our members join purely for the social aspect too. Come find us at Freshers Fair to see what we’re all about!!
