Rishi is in his final year at university. He was President last year, so he must be doing something right!! He’s overseen a great year, carrying on where the club left off. He’s in charge of the general running of the club. Any questions, and he’s the man to ask.
Club Captain – Ben Jarman
Ben in his 3rd year at Surrey. As Club Captain, he’s in charge of all things cricket related. Our resident keeper who tonned up this year, you may also find him serving you pints. He’s got some big shoes to fill, but we have no doubt he’ll bring some fresh new ideas to the club this year
Women’s Captain – Ella Wadey
Ella is on a placement year at Surrey Sports Park, although she’s assured us she’s going to haveplenty of time for the club. Ella is running the Women’s section of the club, training and matches, as well as getting the girls involved in the socials. She’s got tonnes of cricket experience with Sussex, so hopefully she can keep the ladies firing.
Social Secretary – Tom Payne
Tom is in charge of your social calendar for the next year. As a 3rd year, he has had some time to see the best of our club. We have a legacy of some very good socials and social secretaries, so he’ll have to be on form this year. We’re sure that this year’s socials will see the club getting back to its best after a year of lockdown quizzes!!
Intramural Officer – Jamie Wilkinson
Jamie is returning for his final year at uni. He’ll be in charge of your intramural life for term 1/2. If we’re being honest, we are a Football and Netball club who play a bit of cricket on the side, so be sure to get involved. Football on a Wednesday, and Netball on a Thursday, your weeks are bound to be packed.
Social Media, Health&Wellbeing Champion – Ieuan Carney
Ieuan is the man to see at the club to help you settle in to university life. He’ll offer support and point you to the right people to talk to in the club or at uni if you are ever struggling. He’s so trustworthy, completely confidential, and also in charge of making us look good on social media!
Development Officer – Chandni Vadgama
Chandni is a post-grad student who’s the woman to go to for any cricket or life tips. In charge of our development, she’ll be involved in helping entice new members and giving great tips to our existing ones.
