Below is the club committee for the next academic year. Each member of the committee has a different role but together we run the club over the course of the year. The Equestrian Chair, Polo  Chair and Treasurer are in charge of the general running of the club, making decisions for its betterment and try to develop it with the help of the union. The BUCS Captain is in charge of organising our competitions for all three BUCS teams. The Polo Captain organises weekly polo lessons, whilst the SUPA Captain organises all of the polo competitions. The social secs arrange social events, the fundraising officer organises fundraising and volunteering opportunities for the club and the education officer coordinates educational events for the club. Our Playsport activators co-ordinate our ‘Learn to ride’ programme and organise the weekly social riding lessons.
Each committee member has written a little bit about themselves so that you can get to know them a little better and there is a photo too, so that you’ll be able to recognise them!

Equestrian Chair

Hi everyone, I’m Chessie and I’m your Equestrian chair this year. I’m a fourth year Accounting and Finance student. I have been on the BUCS teams for the last 3 years and I have event horses at home. The club is friendly and accommodating for all levels of riding; from learn to ride to BUCS teams. We do loads of different types of socials and events throughout the year and I would highly recommend getting involved.
As chair, I work with the rest of the committee to organise the day to day running of the club, whilst trying to grow and develop it. I’m interested in all aspects of the club so if you have any questions feel free to message me! Contact me here
