Membership
If you are diving with us you will need to purchase both Club Membership and BSAC Membership. Please note that BSAC Membership can be bought at a discount when paired with training packages found on BSAC’s Uni Club Offers Page. Most people that are new to diving will select the ‘Ocean Diver eLearning and 12-month BSAC membership‘ option. However, if you are confident that you will want to progress further, you could consider ‘Ocean Diver and Sports Diver eLearning, plus two years BSAC student membership‘.
Club Membership (£90) – Paid through Students Union Membership page in the Products / Memberships section of Scuba Soc.
- This pays for the maintenance of our club kit and boat, making sure we can keep the club affordable for you throughout the year for trips and training. We also have our own compressor so air fills are all included. Although this may seem like a lot, it is a worthwhile investment, saving you rental fees for all trips you want to go on and allowing us to take everyone out on boat diving trips thought the year.
BSAC Membership (£37) – Paid through BSAC’s Website. Please click on the ‘Join via a club’ option.
- This is BSAC’s yearly student membership cost. This gives you access to third party liability insurance, access to BSAC training & instructors, the BSAC newsletter & BSAC discounts on dive holidays. You can choose to pay this directly to them or let us handle it.
Social (Free!) – Through Students Union Membership page in the Products / Memberships section of Scuba Soc.
- If you’re not able to dive with us this year, why not become a social member! This membership doesn’t include any diving but getting this and joining our Facebook group will let you keep up with what we’re doing, including any socials!
