Our Boat – Garfield II

Garfield II is the club RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) named after the lasagne-loving feline we all know and love. This boat is the second in this lineage, after Garfield I was retired some years ago to make room for an upgrade.  When not roaming the South Coast, Garfield is often found napping in our locker, and we’ll often take him out in the Summer for some exciting trips!

Make sure to check out our Instagram for Garfield’s most recent adventures.

If you’re interested in boats, BSAC run a series of courses which we sometimes get groups together for. This can include an Outboard Engine and Boat Maintenance Course, and Boat Handling, depending on what you’re interested in. These don’t have any requirements such as diving experience so let us know if this is something you’d like!
