Week 6 chess social

This Tuesday will be the day where we intend to have a speed chess tournament. Players of all levels are welcome, to participate in the tournament you will need to have purchased either the members ticket available for this tournament or the non members version (those with the chess soc membership will have the cheaper members ticket available to them). The format is 3-2 blitz (3minutes and 2 seconds added time after each move you make). The ticket amounts are limited so make sure you get one if you want to be eligible to play, on the day of the event you will be required to show your purchased ticket. There will be 6 rounds in swiss style format where players with equal points before the start of each round will be drawn against each other to play. The winner will take 50% of the cash prize pot, 2nd 30% & 3rd takes 20%.
