Dr Shlomi Haar Expert Speaker

We welcome cognitive neuroscience senior lecturer and UK DRI Emerging Leader, Dr. Shlomi Haar. Recently having joined the University of Surrey, Shlomi is an Edmond and Lily Safra Research Fellow at the Department of Brain Sciences, Imperial College London, London, UK. As well as a UK DRI Emerging Leader at the UK Dementia Research Institute Care Research & Technology Centre.

He studies the brain mechanisms of movement in health and disease, aiming to improve our understanding of the effects of medication and deep brain stimulation (DBS) treatments for Parkinson's disease (PD) on the system level (beyond improving symptoms).
