Goat Yoga

Tuesday 19 May, 12:00–14:00

Join us for a very specialist yoga class with the happiest goats you will ever meet!

At Goat Yoga, spend a joyful hour with a small herd of rescue goats who have been rescued from petting farms when they were no longer considered 'cute enough', and who now live happy, playful lives in a peaceful rewilded setting.

Passionate about animal welfare and spreading smiles, Michaela created these sessions to bring people together in a unique way that boosts wellbeing while giving rescued animals a second chance. Her sessions are all about fun, connection, and leaving with a lighter heart and mind, plus maybe a goat selfie or two.

What to expect:

  • 1 hour yoga class taught by a fully qualified instructor with 15 minutes at the end
    for goat cuddles.
  • Goat Yoga is a normal yoga class, just with the addition of ridiculously cute goats! The goats interact with you during the yoga routine creating a huge element of fun but also calming animal therapy. If you like yoga, animals and a bit of fun, this class is for you!
  • All mats provided.
  • No prior yoga experience needed, suitable for all levels and all goat lovers.
  • There will be a member of staff on hand at all times to quicky and efficiently clear up any little indiscretions so that class may proceed smoothly.
  • Please wear clothing suitable for yoga and that covers your back, as the goats' hooves can be a bit scratchy!

Ethics and values are at the core of what we do at Godalming Goat Yoga, both for our class participants and our goats. Our goats are a range of ages, and all beautiful characters. We do not believe in restricting yoga goats to babies only. Character is everything, and our Pygmy Pirates have it in abundance!

Michaela is a fully qualified and insured yoga instructor and has been teaching in schools, hospitals, corporate events, sports parks and festivals for many years, in Surrey and beyond! The safety of her clients and animals is her top priority, as well as the enjoyment of both at these classes!

Please note: tickets will be required for this event.
