Exam time affects everyone differently. Some of us feel stressed, some anxious, and others find themselves juggling racing thoughts and strong emotions all at once. This session will introduce three simple mindfulness and breathwork techniques to help you manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm before, during, and after exams. There will also be time for quiet reflection, journaling, or sharing your experience if you wish. It’s a supportive space to reconnect with a calmer, more focused, and relaxed version of yourself.

Tickets are free but please ensure you purchase one to book your place.

Facilitated by Professor Christine Rivers, Professor of Mindfulness and Professional Development at Surrey Business School and an experienced mindfulness breathwork teacher, yoga and meditation teacher, psychotherapist, and Mental Health First Aider. Since 2022, she has been supporting students across the University of Surrey through wellbeing sessions and workshops in collaboration with the Wellbeing Centre, the GSA, and Surrey Business School. She also works with charities and organisations in the mental health space, helping people develop practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, and everyday challenges.
