Our recent trip to Cambridge offered students the chance to explore one of the UK’s most historic and picturesque cities, known for its beautiful architecture, rich culture, and world-famous university colleges. I found the experience to be an excellent opportunity to discover a new place, meet other students, and soak in the atmosphere of a city rich in history and charm.
Last Sunday, we took a full coach of students on a trip to Cambridge, leaving bright and early from Austin Pearce just after 08:00. The two-hour journey flew by, and soon we were stepping into one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the UK.

Cambridge has so much to see, from its breathtaking architecture to its rich history, that you can feel it everywhere you go. I spent the day exploring the city’s charming streets and went on a punting tour through the famous Cambridge campuses. It honestly felt like being in a movie! The scenery was stunning, and there was something so peaceful (and slightly eerie!) about gliding along the river surrounded by centuries-old buildings.

Before we wrapped up the day, I stopped by a cosy café for an iced matcha latte, which was the perfect way to end the trip. We left Cambridge at 17:30, tired but happy after a full day of exploring. Cambridge was absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait for our next adventure!
