Housing Fair

Wednesday 5 November, 10:00 - 15:00 at Rubix

At your Student’s Union we know that the pressure to find housing can feel overwhelming and impossible to know where to start.

So we are running our annual Housing Fair on Wednesday 5 November at Rubix from 10:00 – 15:00.

There will be representatives from PBSAs (purpose built student accommodations), local landlords, and lettings agents.

You will be able to speak to them about their room availability and arrange to viewings of rooms and houses, potentially securing your accommodation for next year already!

Your Students’ Union Support Team supported by Hoods Residential, will be there to provide independent advice and help you to understand the details and complexities of finding accommodation, your rights under the new Renters Rights Bill and understanding contracts.

Your our Student Housing app Roome will also be there to guide use of the site and find available rooms and properties.

We’ll have pastries, tea & coffee available, There will be a Union Creates activity of door sign making happening in Harri’s Bar from 12:00-14:00 and The Horticultural Society will be running a plant sale!
