Every year, Course Reps dedicate their time to representing their peers and gathering feedback to improve the student experience. Nominations for the Course Rep Awards are officially open, giving you the chance to be recognised for everything you’ve achieved this year, or to nominate a Rep you know for their work from this past year!

What are the Course Rep Awards?
The Course Rep Awards celebrate the hard work and impact of Course Reps across the University of Surrey. During the awards evening, certificates and prizes will be presented to Reps who have gone above and beyond in their role.

You can also nominate yourself for an award by submitting evidence of the work you’ve done throughout the year.

What awards can I apply for?
All Course Reps have the opportunity to apply for Bronze, Silver, or Gold status. These awards recognise different levels of contribution and achievement within the role.

Any award you receive can be added to your CV to demonstrate your impact, and winners will receive a certificate or trophy along with a gift card.

Are there any other awards?
Yes! There are also a number of “Rep of the Year” awards, which are decided based on feedback from staff and Rep wins. These include:

  • Undergraduate Faculty Rep of the Year (one per Faculty)

  • Placement Rep of the Year

  • PGT Rep of the Year

  • PGR Rep of the Year

  • Head Rep of the Year

When and where are the awards?
Date: 13 May
Time: 17:00 - 19:30
Location: Hari’s Bar
