Using submissions from the Rep Wins form, we are proud to announce our Course Rep of the Month for February. 

Course Rep of the Month FABSS: Sofia Smith

Course: Music and Media

Sofia, has been selected as Course Rep of the Month for February in recognition of their outstanding commitment and impact. They were nominated for:

·       Advocating for student voice at Head Rep meetings, raising student concerns regarding the exam season and the new AI framework.

·       Sofia also escalated concerns about assessment accessibility for neurodiverse students; discussing with the Neuroinclusion & Disability Team to ensure fair assessment criteria.

Course Rep of the Month FHMS: Karl Rudolph

Course: Bioscience

Karl, has been selected as Course Rep of the Month for February in recognition of their outstanding commitment and impact. They were nominated for:

·       Promoting student voice and supporting course reps, as well as escalating student concerns about attendance and assessments.

·       Karl organised sessions during welcome week to connect Bioscience students and introduced formal opportunities for course reps to meet academic staff to share student feedback.

Course Rep of the Month FEPS: Jamie Neil

Course: Electrical Engineering

Jamie, has been selected as Course Rep of the Month for February in recognition of their outstanding commitment and impact. They were nominated for:

·       Outstanding representation and support of the PGR community, by advocating for targeted communication, resources and support to improve student experience.

·       Jamie consistently escalated student feedback surrounding support availability, supervisor training improvements and the need to include PGR voices when enacting change.

·       Jamie has also used his role as President of the Postgraduate Society to increase a sense of belonging at Surrey via weekly socials and events.
