Saturday 9 May

Last night, Friday 8 May, we hosted the annual Union Ball Awards ceremony, where individual students and Clubs and Societies are recognised for their dedication, commitment and contributions to campus life. This can be through volunteering, wellbeing services, and student Societies. It’s a celebration not only for the winners, but for everyone who has been shortlisted, giving us all a chance to reflect on every student who helps make Surrey the best it possibly can be.

We would like to say a huge congratulations to all of you who won an award and to everyone who was shortlisted. We are so proud of the dedication and commitment our student volunteers have shown again this year, and we would like to thank every single person who has given back to your fellow students this academic year. The University would not be the same without you!
