Every year, hundreds of student volunteers give up their time to contribute to a full and vibrant student experience at Surrey, packed full of student-led events and activities. Whether it's our sports clubs and societies offering endless opportunities to meet new people and have new experiences, or our Course Reps and wellbeing volunteers ensuring that you're represented and supported during your degree, Surrey simply wouldn't be the same without their efforts. 

We're immensely proud of the hard work and commitment that our student volunteers have shown again this year, contributing to all aspects of your Surrey life. Thank you to every single one of you who has given something back to your fellow students this year! 👏

Colours Ball took place on Wednesday 7 May and was a show-stopping celebration of student sport at Surrey. All our shortlisted students have made great contributions to the sporting scene, through making our clubs more inclusive, competing at the highest levels, and providing club members with a great social experience. At Union Ball, held on Friday 9 May, we hosted another great evening of celebrations to recognise students who have made outstanding contributions to the student community at Surrey, through volunteering, wellbeing services, and student societies. The shortlist of potential award winners was a showcase of the diversity of events and activities on offer from our student societies, and the hard work that students have put into delivering excellent wellbeing support and academic representation across the University community.
