Monday 3 November

In this Union Forum we will be discussing the Library Opening Hours- which has been subject to much discussion in recent years. Is it better to reduce the opening hours? Maybe the library should be closed during quieter periods? What about keeping it open 24/7? We need to hear from you and what you want.

Join the meeting to hear what your officers have to say- and add your own thoughts and opinions. Find the event information here.

What is Union Forum?

Union Forum is your chance to connect directly with your elected Officer team and ensure your voice is heard. It’s a space where students and Officers come together to discuss key issues and share feedback. There are four Union Forums each academic year, so this is your opportunity to get involved mid-year and make an impact.

Union Forum looks to cover issues that matter most to you as students, with previous discussion topics such as Cost of Living, Accommodation, Accessibility and Employability.

Why Get Involved?

Whether you’re a Course Rep, part of a Club or Society, a Postgraduate student, or simply want to make a difference to student life, Union Forum is your platform to speak up. You can raise issues, share ideas, or just listen in to see how your elected Officers are representing you.

How to Join

This event will take place online via Teams, and you can find the link in the Union Calendar here.
