The Voice Zone has continued to ensure that student feedback remains at the heart of the University and Students' Union when making decisions throughout the year, and I have thoroughly enjoyed being the VP Voice!

Our Course Reps have provided vital academic representation to the student community, influencing decision-making throughout the University. This year, we also focused on recognising Course Rep achievements by launching Rep of the Month!

We are proud that the University takes the student voice seriously. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the Executive Board to meet with our Head Reps and listen to their feedback on the academic experience. Additionally, over 200 students attended one of our Student Voice Forums, which provides an opportunity for students to ask questions directly to a panel of senior University leaders.

During Speak Week, we gathered over 1600 suggestions for change from students. These suggestions directly influenced key conversations with the University and have been used to shape the Union's priorities for the upcoming year.

Union Democracy has had its largest year yet, with more than 28,000 students voting in all elections and ensuring their voices are heard.

We are deeply grateful to the University for investing in our Student Equality Network this year, which has enabled us to establish three new dedicated sub-networks. This student-led project has led to improvements across the University, including accessibility on campus, more support for international students, and has showcased diverse student voices on issues of racial equality.

It's been an honour to work with so many passionate students and staff members this year, and we've achieved a great deal! I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish next year as I continue in my role as VP Voice for a second term.
