Union Connects: Welcome to Halls

New to Surrey and want an easy way to meet people in your halls? Drop into Welcome to Halls at Hari's Bar!

This is a relaxed, come-alone-friendly session where you can meet the Sabbatical Officers, chat with other students, and find out what’s happening on campus.

• A chance to say hello to the Sabb team
• A way to find out what's happening at Your Union from our Events Assistants
• A welcoming space to meet people from your halls and beyond

Our Events Assistants will usher you to different tables depending on what kind of activity you'd like to do:

• Chat and Chill: Meet new people and enjoy a quick, relaxed chat.
• Craft Station: Make a personalised keyring and take home something creative.
• Board Games Station: Play games and connect with others in a low-pressure setting.
• Letters Station: Write a letter to your future self to open a year from now or at the end of your studies.
• Bar: Grab a drink at Hari’s Bar and have a little linger.
