Union Creates: Beads & Buds

Starting university is exciting, but finding your feet on campus can feel like a lot. If you’re new to Surrey and want a relaxed way to meet people, join us for Beads & Buds at AP Plaza.

This chilled drop-in activity gives you space to make kandi, bracelets, keychains, and other bead creations while chatting with other freshers. No experience is needed, and there’s no pressure to make anything perfect. Just drop in, get creative, and take a break from the Freshers’ Week rush.

This is the perfect opportunity to:

• Meet other freshers in a relaxed, friendly space;
• Ease into campus life at your own pace;
• Make kandi, bracelets, or keychains with beads;
• Create something small to take home.

This is a FREE activity hosted by Surrey Students’ Union. All materials will be provided, and you’ll need to bring your student ID. Just bring yourself!
