Varsity 2026!

The biggest event in the sporting calendar returns for 2026! 

Varsity is the biggest competitive sports event of the year, where Team Surrey goes head-to-head with long-standing rivals Royal Holloway in a full day of high-stakes matches, fierce competition, and roaring school spirit.

Each spring, hundreds of student athletes from both universities compete across dozens of sports – from football and rugby to ultimate frisbee, netball, and beyond – with one goal in mind: bring the Varsity Trophy home to Surrey.

Join us on the 25 March as head to Royal Holloway to continue our winning streak.

Important information: Coaches will operate a shuttle between Surrey Sports Park and Royal Holloway all day. Players will be allocated a specific outbound coach, spectators can take any coach with spare seats after 12:30. For those wishing to watch the finale there are coaches running later into the evening to allow for this. Please note there is strictly no parking on the Royal Holloway campus.
