TalkTogether invites you to join us for a Wellbeing Walk during this assessment period. This is a chance to get out of the library and away from your screens to get some well earned fresh air and connect with others.
We will meet outside The Hive, Stag Hill Campus and leave at 12 Midday.
The Route: We will make our way towards the canal where we will walk along the River Wey towards Shalford Park, then around back down Portsmouth Road, and back towards Stag Hill Campus. The walk should take roughly 1.5 hours.
Accessibility: The first part of the walk will be all along the canal that runs parallel to Walnut Tree Close, until we get to a small bridge which can be located on Google maps by Millmead Lock. Here we will take a short snack break in a lovely green area. This first part of the walk is accessible and fairly flat. After this point we will continue along the River Wey, and then up and around back onto a main road. On this last part of the walk we will encounter some fairly steep hills and steps.
If you have any questions about the route or anything at all, please email ussu.advice@surrey.ac.uk.
Look forward to seeing you there!
