Are you a Woman in Engineering?
Despite progress, women are still underrepresented in engineering roles worldwide. Figures released by the Women’s Engineering Society in 2021 indicated that only 16.5% of people working in engineering professions were women.
Join us for an opportunity to connect, share experiences and build a supportive community across all areas of engineering. Snacks and drinks provided.
This event has been organised by Vihanya Ratnayake, a first- year Aerospace Engineering student, Course Representative and Community Zone Part Time Officer. This event is supported by the Student Equality Network, as part of the Union's Women's History Month calendar of events.
