Arab Society

The Arab Society at the University of Surrey is a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to celebrating Arab culture, heritage, and identity in all its diversity. We aim to create a welcoming space where culture is shared, friendships are built, and everyone feels at home.

Through social events, cultural celebrations, themed nights, food gatherings, and collaborations with other societies, we showcase the richness of Arab traditions while keeping things fun, relaxed, and engaging. Whether it’s music, language, food, or just good vibes, our events are about bringing people together.

Importantly, you don’t need to be Arab to join — we welcome students from all backgrounds who are curious, open-minded, and interested in learning about Arab culture or simply being part of a friendly and supportive community. Our society is about connection, inclusivity, and enjoying university life together.
