Aims

-Academic enrichment with hopes of inspiring and engaging students within the bioscience society. -To promote career development and networking opportunities. -To foster Inclusive and welcoming social environment. -To promote equality, diversity, and inclusion within the bioscience's community. -Encourage collaboration between students across bioscience-related disciplines. -To spread awareness about charities that closely align with the bioscience field, with a particular focus on current health concerns.

Existence

The biosciences society is dedicated to uniting university student within biosciences courses, as well as those with an interest in biosciences. Through promoting a supportive, inclusive, and engaging community. The society is committed to enhancing students’ experience by providing support opportunities for academic and career development, in addition to networking events to connect students with external professionals and alumni in the field. Our goal is to ensure that our members have an enjoyable, fulfilled and balanced university experience by creating a varied programme of social, academic and professional events. Overall, it promotes collaboration, inclusivity and a stronger sense of community across the bioscience's cohort.
