Cheerleading (Surrey Angels)

We offer both competitive and social cheer, along with a variety of socials and fundraising events throughout the year, including bar crawls, bake sales, and awards nights for all our members!

Surrey Angels is made up of four teams: two competition teams that compete at national events and two recreational teams for those who want to learn cheerleading and socialise without the commitment of competitions.

Our Teams:

HALO

Halo is our recreational team, you have the fun of stunting, tumbling, jumping and dancing partnered with the flexibility to work it around your schedule! Training is available once a week, but you can turn up every week or once a year, as there is no commitment necessary. You can have an abundance of cheer knowledge or none at all! Halo is just a fun safe place to develop your skills and love for cheer!

Gravity

Gravity is our game day, recreational team, you’ll make friends, learn new skills, and enjoy cheer without the aspect of competition! You will train two times a week, and learn a routine to perform at sporting events, including a half time performance for the Surrey Stingers. There is the aspect of commitment, as all teammates must attend the two weekly training sessions in order to perfect their routine. No matter your level or experience, you are welcome here—we can’t wait to meet you!

Level 1 – Eternity

Eternity is our Level 1 competition team. With two training sessions per week, we compete in national competitions throughout the year. No prior cheer experience is necessary, as you’ll be taught everything you need to know—but Level 1 tumbles are a bonus!

Level 3 – Infinity

Infinity is our Level 3 competition team, training twice a week and competing at national competitions. This team requires dedication and hard work, but the experience is incredibly rewarding and so much fun! If you have a background in cheerleading or gymnastics, Infinity could be the perfect fit for you.

Beyond Training

Outside of practices, we host a variety of socials, team bonding events, and fundraisers throughout the year, including bar crawls, bake sales, karaoke nights, joint socials with other clubs, talent shows, bingo, and game nights!
