We offer a range of classes in many different styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Commercial and Wildcard!
Each week we hold open classes available to all members as well as some pop-up classes throughout the year with professional choreographers.
Competitions🥇🏆
We compete in 4 competitions a year (+ Varsity!!), including our very own Surrey Dance Comp. Anyone is able to audition for our competitive teams and classes run for 1 hour a week per style. Classes are led by our amazing student execs.
Performance Opportunities🪩🕺
If competitions aren’t for you, we also offer some performance opportunities to our open members including:
- Annual Christmas Show 🎄: Both open and competition classes perform as well as solos, duos and trios.
- Surrey Dance Comp 🦌: Before each category our open members perform a routine.
- We will also be looking to find more performance opportunities throughout the year for all members.

At Surrey Dance Comp we love a social. Our social secs plan and host a variety of socials throughout the year. These include:
- Drinking socials including pub crawls and themed nights out
- Sober socials including quiz nights and poster making
- Wellbeing socials

Aims
At Surrey Dance Squad we offer weekly open classes and competition teams in 9 styles including; Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, Tap, Hip hop, Commercial and Wildcard. We have performance opportunities for all members through out the year as well as various university level competition around the country!
Existence
Aside from competing we offer as safe, inclusive and welcoming environment, with regular socials throughout the year; allowing students to establish friendships aside from their degree.
