Aims

1. Promote Hispanic and Spanish-speaking cultures through social, cultural, and educational events. 2. Build an inclusive community where students from Hispanic backgrounds and those interested in Hispanic culture can meet and connect. 3. Encourage language learning and practice by creating informal opportunities to use and develop Spanish. 4. Celebrate cultural diversity by representing the different countries, identities, traditions, and perspectives within the Spanish-speaking world.

Existence

The Hispanic Society aims to create a welcoming community for students interested in Hispanic and Spanish-speaking cultures. The committee exists to organise activities, events, and opportunities that bring students together, encourage cultural exchange, and help members learn more about the diverse cultures, languages, histories, and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world.
