We have 3 competitive ladies' teams, which all compete in BUCS Wednesdays.
Our ladies 1s compete in the South Eastern Tier 1 league and finished top of the table last season. They also dominated at varsity and Grad sport this year.
Our Ladies 2s compete in the South Eastern Tier 2 league, having been promoted after an amazing season.
Our ladies 3s compete in the South Eastern Tier 3 league, being unbeated in last season's league and getting promoted.
MENS
We have 2 competitive mens teams in the club which compete in BUCS Wednesdays.
The Mens 1s competed in the South Eastern Tier 1 League and finished 3rd in the table last year. They’re looking forward to push for promotion to South Prem.
The Mens 2s compete South Eastern Tier 3, and have had some incredible cup runs including runners up in 23/24.
SMALL SIDED
Our activators run small sided sessions on Sundays for those who don’t want to play competitive hockey and are looking for a fun session. This session is also for those who wish to try hockey for the first time in a chill, fun environment!
MIXED TEAM
Our mixed team is a supportive environment where people from across all 5 of our teams are welcome to play together! This team is focussed on friendly matches, so is good for those wanting to play matches without any competitive pressure.
SOCIALS
The fun doesn’t stop off the pitch!
UOSHC has awesome themed socials that are run by our social secs every Wednesday. These include bar crawls, pres, fancy dress and we always end up in Rubix, ready to dance the night away at citrus!
But don’t worry if that kind of thing isn’t your scene!
We also take part in a many sober socials, such as team roast dinners, top golf, paintball, trips out and more!
And don’t forget about our annual Christmas dinner and end of season awards dinner, which are always amazing and fun!
CHARITY WORK AND OTHER EVENTS
UOSHC runs many charity events/fundraisers over the course of the year. Take a look through our page to see all the money we’ve raised for charities, such as Movember, Mind, Cancer research and more!
There are also loads of other events that happen throughout the year, such as our annual hockey tour, varsity vs royal Holloway and gradsport, so you’ll never be bored!
