-£40Welcome to Surrey's newest martial arts club - Surrey Karate. We are aiming to re-establish karate as a thriving club within the university and grow on a national level.
We are coached by Sensei George Taylor, a 6th Dan Shotokan karate instructor. We aim to have our first BUCS team for February this year who will compete in nationals. We also have many other opportunities to compete, whether you have a longstanding history of karate or are a toal beginner - we encourage people of all levels to get involved and push themselves to achieve their best.
We also have lots of fun socials planned for the academic year - these include collaborations with other societies, bar crawls, group dinners, pot lucks and many more!
How to join: our sessions are open to people of all martial arts backgrounds - your first three sessions are free but after this you will need to purchase our club membership.
