Aims
MidSoc aims to create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space where student midwives can connect, support one another, and build lasting friendships throughout their training. Through a range of social events, wellbeing activities, and peer support, we encourage a strong sense of community and support students from all years to share experiences and celebrate successes together. We are also committed to providing valuable learning opportunities through the annual MidSoc conference to complement academic, personal and professional development.
Existence
MidSoc exists to provide a community of support, belonging and friendship to student midwives. It offers a safe and welcoming environment where student midwives can connect, learn from one another, prioritise their wellbeing, and build professional relationships that will support them throughout their training and future careers.
