🎭 Welcome to MTSoc 🎭

Did you used to perform in the mirror as a child, waiting for the house to be empty so you could sing karaoke in the kitchen at full volume? Have you spent years dancing to your favourite songs, or acting out dramatic scenes like you were already on stage?

Whether you’ve been performing for years or are just curious to try something new, MTSoc is for anyone who loves to sing, dance, act — or simply wants to be part of something that feels like home.

We rehearse every Monday and Thursday from 6:00–10:00pm, building up to our two annual Musical Theatre Showcases in November and May, as well as our Main Production — a full-scale musical that’s won Best Student-Led Event of the Year eight years running.

But it’s not just about what happens under the spotlight.

MTSoc is a community. A place to meet people who share your love of performance, music, and creativity. Throughout the year, we run a range of social events giving you plenty of chances to connect and make memories that last far beyond the final curtain call.
