-FreeWelcome to our SocSoc Society page. We are so excited to have this new platform to interact with our society members and showcase the events we have planned!
We are a society that represents the Sociology Department- this includes Sociology, Criminology and Media, but all students across different levels of study are welcome to join.
We're really looking forward to continuing the society in the 2026/27 academic year and welcoming lots of new members!
There are lots of exciting aspects of SocSoc, such as our themed socials, the Annual Christmas Quiz, a Winter/Summer Ball and many more…
We want to make an inclusive, welcoming space for all students to come and make new friends! We always want to make sure everyone has a social for them so our membership is free as we try and make all of our socials cost effective for you to take part in, as we want everyone to be able to attend :)
