Existence

The club exists to provide students with opportunities to participate in swimming at both recreational and competitive levels while promoting physical wellbeing, personal development, teamwork, and inclusion. The club aims to create a supportive and welcoming environment where students can improve their swimming ability, develop confidence, represent the university in competition, and build lasting friendships through both sporting and social activities. The club encourages discipline, time management, resilience, and leadership skills, supporting members both in and out of the pool. In addition to performance opportunity the club aims to promote participation and enjoyment for swimmers, ensuring that every member feels valued and included within the university sporting community and positively contributing to student wellbeing and university life.
