SFS is dedicated to promoting Filipino culture and creating a supportive community open to everyone Filipino or not, we bring people together through cultural events, food, music, games, and shared experiences that feel like home. Whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or discovering the culture for the first time. Our goal is to raise awareness of Filipino heritage and give a welcoming environment where students can come to know SFS as a space where you can belong, grow, and make unforgettable memories.

Events in the society:
Sportsfest - Our Highlight event of semester 2 the biggest event of the year, sfs sportsfest celebrates youth empowerment through basketball and volleyball, bringing together Filipino societies from other universities.

Meet and greets - An event introducing who we are as SFS and insight to events to come and information to look forward towards. Aiming to bring together a community where students engage and interact with one another through our games to form new bonds and friendships. We also offer our exclusive Filsoc tradition in providing free Jollibee a renowned filipino restaurant adored by many as well as pizza!

We also host karaoke, games, movie nights! Not to mention our exciting collaborations with other societies and universities.
