Welcoming polo team competing at all levels - from complete beginner!

<- Back to Club & Society A-Z

Polo is a fast-paced, mixed-gender contact sport, sometimes described as 'hockey on horses'.

We play with 3 players per team in arena over winter, and 4 per team on grass over summer. Our club offers weekly polo lessons with HPA qualified coaches, Ryan Conroy and Casey Simons, as well as free weekly sessions in theory, fitness and hand mallet training.

Whether you have never sat on a horse before or are an experienced rider, anybody can compete with us, as long as they are safe and committed to training. We compete at two SUPA national competitions per year - one in February and one in June - with categories catering to all experience levels.

Off the pitch, we run weekly socials, including non-drinking events, to ensure every member feels welcome and involved.
